Wellness Exams
Wellness exams are periodic visits to your veterinarian focused on keeping your pet healthy and happy members of the family while preventing or minimizing medical issues that may occur later in life.
Routine Wellness Exams for your dogs and cats.
A routine wellness examination will include a detailed history on your pet’s diet, exercise, habits, elimination patterns, behaviors, lifestyles, behaviors, and general health issues. Based on your pet’s history and physical examination, a veterinarian may make recommendations for preventative medicines and treatments such as vaccinations, parasite preventatives, nutrition, skin care, weight management, and dental care.
Veterinarians recommend regular wellness exams for the same reason physicians and dentists recommend them. If we can detect a problem in its early stages, it is more likely to be treated and/or resolved effectively and is often less expensive.
